Former Wisconsin basketball players to team up to benefit ‘Garding Against Cancer’

Former Wisconsin basketball players are reuniting soon for a very important cause.

A trio of Badgers in Ben Brust, Brevin Pritzl, and Trevon Hughes will be competing in the Summerfest Alumni Charity Challenge. Here is more on that event from Summerfest:

Former Marquette Golden Eagle, Green Bay Phoenix, Wisconsin Badger, and Milwaukee Panther basketball stars reunite to raise money for charity and to prove who is still number one on the court. On Friday, June 30th, at 4 pm join us at the Gruber Law Offices Sportszone at Summerfest, where alumni from each university will compete in the 2s FREES 3s™ shooting challenge, all to support four great charitable organizations, Garding Against Cancer, Autism Society of SE Wisconsin, Nicole Ellis Foundation, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay.

The Badger team will be honoring Greg Gard’s own charity. Partnering with UW & the WI Foundation & Alumni, Greg and Michelle Gard launched Garding Against Cancer to raise funds for cancer research and care in WI.
