Former Seahawks DE Jadeveon Clowney remains on the market

Just like last year, lots of eyes around the NFL remain on defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to see where he’ll land heading into the season. One team is starting to really stand out – the Cleveland Browns.

Clowney had a visit with the Browns on March 24 but left with no contract. Cleveland is planning to have another look-see, however, according to Josina Anderson.

“I’m told the #Browns are working to arrange another visit with free agent edge-rusher Jadeveon Clowney for Monday, at this time, per source,” Anderson tweeted Sunday night.

Cleveland had been in the hunt for Clowney last year but was unable to seal the deal. The defensive end will surely come with a less-expensive price tag this season, which could change things.

Clowney spent the 2019 season in Seattle before signing with the Titans last year. The Seahawks don’t seem like a potential candidate to land Clowney once again, but he’s worth watching for now.
