Justin Lower is finishing strong at the PGA Barbasol Championship in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

The former Northwest and Malone golfer shot 4-under 68 on Saturday and will head into Sunday's final round tied for 23rd at 10-under. Lower is seven shots behind leader Trevor Cone.

An even-par 72 in Thursday's first round put Lower in position of possibly missing the cut. He bounced back with a 6-under 66 on Friday and moved seven more spots up the leaderboard with his 68 Saturday.

Lower is coming off his fifth career top-10 finish on the PGA Tour. He came in eighth at this month's Rocket Mortgage Classic at 19-under. He missed last week's John Deere Classic after he tested positive for COVID.

Former Walsh Jesuit and Ohio State golfer Ryan Armour heads into the final round tied for 14th and 12-under. He shot 3-under 69 Saturday, his third straight round below par.

The 47-year-old Armour ended a streak of four straight missed cuts this week. His highest finish this season came at the Sanderson Farm Championship, where he tied for 13th at 11-under.
