Former Brooklyn Nets assistant Pablo Prigioni eyeing LBA coaching job
Former Nets assistant Pablo Prigioni is reportedly in talks to lead Italian basketball team Pallacanestro Varese.
Prigioni has experience playing all over Europe including ten clubs and even found himself in the NBA for three seasons.
After a short stint as an assistant for Baskonia, Prigioni joined Brooklyn’s staff. Prigioni was apart of the Nets first playoff appearance since 2015.
This season he was an assistant in Minnesota for the Timberwolves. Prigioni was allowed to coach the Las Vegas Summer League team and was put in charge of the Timberwolves offense from then on.
According to EuroLeague reporter Alessandro Maggi of Sportsnado dropped the news in a tweet.
