Former Bills OC Ken Dorsey to interview with Buccaneers
The Buffalo Bills are trying to make the changes necessary this offseason to make sure that their team comes back next season stronger than ever to make another push for a Super Bowl. While the Bills are trying to figure out who will be their offensive coordinator moving forward, one of their former offensive coordinators is getting interest from other teams.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Friday that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to interview former Buffalo offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey next week for their open offensive coordinator position. Tampa Bay’s offensive coordinator for the 2023 season, Dave Canales, has left that job to become the head coach of the Carolina Panthers.
Schefter pointed out in his post on “X” that Dorsey interviewed for the offensive coordinator position with the Cleveland Browns earlier this week. Dorsey became the Bills’ offensive coordinator heading into the 2022 season after Brian Daboll left that role to become the head coach of the New York Giants.
Dorsey held his OC role until he was fired following a 24-22 Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos in which the Bills committed four turnovers and put up just 177 passing yards. Dorsey was succeeded by quarterbacks coach Joe Brady, who plenty of players including star quarterback Josh Allen, are supporting to be the permanent offensive coordinator.
