Former Auburn QB Bo Nix announces transfer destination

Former Auburn Tigers quarterback Bo Nix is transferring to Oregon. Nix will play under new head coach Dan Lanning. Nix will be reunited with his former offensive coordinator, Kenny Dillingham, at Oregon.

Bo Nix’s departure leaves a quarterback void at Auburn. The Tigers may look to the NCAA transfer portal or will have to rely on TJ Finley.

Oregon’s first game of 2022 will be against the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta. Nix is projected play against the Georgia defense for the fourth time in his career. This time he won’t be going against former UGA defensive coordinator Dan Lanning.

Nix’s first game for Auburn came against Oregon in 2019. Nix helped the Tigers defeat the Ducks in a 27-21 comeback win.

Bo Nix did a better job of being efficient and not turning over the football for Auburn in 2021. Nix threw for 11 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
