Former Auburn OG Keiondre Jones is headed to the ACC

Auburn had a chance to pull Keiondre Jones back from the portal but the offensive guard announced he is headed to Florida State on Twitter Tuesday.

The LaGrange, Georgia native was a top 150 overall player when he signed with Auburn in 2019 and became a starter in 2020 and 2021 after redshirting his freshman season. He took a step back in 2022, becoming a rotational player but still thrived in run blocking and earned a couple of starts.

The 6-foot-4, 340-pound Jones is the first Auburn player to announce his transfer destination after entering the transfer portal. He is expected to contend for a starting role at either left or right guard for the Seminoles.

Auburn’s offensive line will look drastically different this coming season as they are looking to overhaul the unit and are actively pursuing multiple transfer portal players, JUCO recruits, and high school prospects with an eye to players who can immediately contribute.
