Football playoffs: OHSAA announces state championship game times

The OHSAA on Tuesday announced the game times for the football championship games in each division.

The Division II state title game will take place on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Green is set to face Cincinnati Winton Woods in a Division II state semifinal on Friday at 7 p.m. At the same time, Archbishop Hoban will take on Avon in the other semifinal. The playoff brackets have opened the door for two Summit County teams to play one another in the championship game should both advance.

The Division I (7:30 p.m.), Division III (3 p.m.) and Division IV (10:30 a.m.) title games will take place on Dec. 3.

The Division V (7:30 p.m.), Division VI (3 p.m.) and Division VII (10:30 a.m.) championship games will fall on Dec. 4.
