Fleetwood's Davin Millisock named Berks Player of the Year in boys soccer

Oct. 26—Fleetwood's Davin Millisock has been named the Berks Boys Soccer Player of the Year, the BCIAA announced Thursday.

Millisock, a junior, leads the Berks champion Tigers in goals (20) and points (46). He also has six assists.

Millisock, a three-time selection, headlines the 13-player All-Berks team, as selected by the league's coaches.

He is one of three selections from Fleetwood, along with Nate Herb and Josh Avila. Herb is a repeat selection.

Conrad Weiser also has three selections in senior Owen Auchenbach, senior Michael Monroe and junior Gavin Rapp. Monroe and Rapp are repeat selections.

Tulpehocken and Kutztown each have two players on the team: senior goalie Nick Becker and sophomore Connor Hussman for the Trojans, and junior Colin Diehl and sophomore Chase Schuler for the Cougars.

Becker is a repeat selection. Hussman and Schuler are the only sophomores on the team.

Gov. Mifflin senior Teague Ferry also is a repeat pick.

Rounding out the team are Wilson junior Jack Kersikoski and Wyomissing junior Drew Latourelle.

Conrad Weiser's Derek Long has been voted the Coach of the Year. He has led the Scouts to a 19-3 record, including 11-1 in Berks II, and a runner-up finish in the county playoffs. Weiser hosts Elco Thursday in a District 3 Class 3A quarterfinal.

Millisock, Rapp and Ferry also earned All-State honors.
