Five Wambdi, three Mustangs named to all-conference football team; four honorable mentions

AGENCY VILLAGE — Five Tiospa Zina and three McLaughlin players have been named to the 2023 All Nations Football Conference all-conference squad.

Tiospa Zina and McLaughlin play in the conference's B Division.

Senior quarterback DJ Renville, senior fullback-middle linebacker Maclovia Campbell, senior defensive back Thomas Anderson III, senior tight end Carvin Fish and senior linebacker Johnny Rivers each earned all-conference honors.

Honorable-mention selections include Tiospa Zina senior offensive lineman Timothy Peters and sophomore nose tackle Chaske Blue Horse.

All-Conference players for McLaughlin include senior offensive-defensive lineman Deven Medicine Crow, senior running back-linebacker Cassidy Demery and sophomore quarterback-linebacker John Eagle Jr. Senior tight end-safety Levyn White Bull and junior running back-linebacker Kaleb White Bull received honorable mention.

A Division

Todd County — Seniors Wakiyan Sa Selwyn, Stryder Yellow Eagle and Drake Espinoza; juniors Michael Rogers and Ty Valandra; and sophomore Aden Good Voice. Honorable mention: Seniors Kanye LeRoy and Chad Whirlwind Solider.

Pine Ridge — Senior Xavier Little; juniors Jesse Hagen, Dominic Ghost Bear and Anthony Steele; and sophomore Marvin Richard III. Honorable mention: Junior Kenny Pulliam and sophomore Chris Pulliam.

Winnebago (Neb.) — Seniors Antrell Harlan, Kaden Kennedy and Cashus Kearnes; and sophomore Jared Doxey. Honorable mention: Senior Santonia Nieman and Caden Brownrigg.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa — Senior Tell Murray, junior Danah Driver and sophomore Austin Johnson. Honorable mention: Senior Brock Ducheneaux and sophomore Destinn Straighthead.

Standing Rock (N.D.) — Senior Mevlin Love Joy and junior Ryan Weddel. Honorable mention: Seniors Dillon Harsche and Thane Beheler.
