Five-star 2024 edge prospect commits to Tennessee
Five-star edge prospect Jordan Ross announced his commitment to Tennessee on Monday.
Ross committed to the Vols over Alabama, Florida and Texas.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound edge prospect is from Vestavia Hills High School in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
Ross is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 2 edge player in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 1 edge prospect and No. 1 player in Alabama, according to 247Sports.
Ross earned first-team All-State, All-Region and All-Metro honors as a junior in 2022. He finished the season with 49 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and two defensive touchdowns.
Following Ross’ commitment, Tennessee’s 2024 class ranks No. 6 nationally and No. 4 in the Southeastern Conference.
