FC Barcelona vs Villarreal - La Liga preview, prediction, odds, how to watch on TV and live stream

Injury-plagued FC Barcelona will be looking for their first win in three La Liga matches when they entertain Villarreal.

The Catalan side returned to winning ways with a victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in midweek but recorded just one win in November after a thrilling shock defeat to Real Betis and a draw against Atletico Madrid last weekend.

Ernesto Valverde’s men, who welcome a Villarreal side that have won just three league games all season, will be without Luis Suarez, with the Uruguayan having undergone stem cell treatment on his knee.

What time does it start?

Barcelona vs Villarreal kicks off at 5:30pm (BST)

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on Eleven Sports 1 from 5:25pm and on their La Liga TV channel from kick-off. Fans can also watch the match on Eleven Sports through iOS mobile and tablet apps as well as on Android mobiles.

Highlights will be shown at 10:45pm on Eleven Sports’ La Liga TV channel.

Player to watch

Ousmane Dembele: The Frenchman has had his fair share of off-the-field issues this season but he has put in some crucial performances for Barcelona in the last month, including against PSV in midweek where he linked up well with Nelson Semedo.

The 21 year-old has scored seven times this season, and five of those have been result-changing goals.

The latest came last weekend when he put away a 90th-minute equaliser against Atletico, and he will be hoping to add to that tally with the visit of the Yellow Submarines.
