Here are the Fantastic Five MetroWest and Milford high school athletes from Thursday

The strong get stronger. These Fantastic Five athletes helped their teams consolidate strong starts into league titles, winning streaks and unbeaten (so far) seasons.

They're versatile, collaborative and instinctive. Here are the Fantastic Five athletes from MetroWest and Milford for Thursday, Jan. 18:

SARAH DUMAS, Franklin girls track and field

The senior won the 55-meter hurdles (8.55 seconds), high jump (5 feet, 4 inches) and long jump (16-5), as the Panthers finished the Hockomock dual meet season undefeated 79-16 on Thursday. Franklin won the Kelley-Rex division for the third year in a row. Ella Chandaria, Anna Cliff, Sophia Cuneo, Meghan Griffith, Lily DeForge also won events for the Panthers.

ERICA HILLS, Dover-Sherborn girls basketball

The senior guard scored 25 points in a 46-28 win over Westwood on Thursday. The Raiders (8-2) have won seven of their last eight games.

LOGAN MARCHAND/BEN PEARSON, Franklin boys hockey

They each scored two goals and notched two assists in an 8-0 win over Oliver Ames on Thursday. Junior defenseman Owen Ariente scored his first varsity goal. Colby Wagner notched 20 saves in the shutout for Franklin (7-5).

JAMES McKINNEY, Nipmuc boys basketball

The junior posted a massive double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds Thursday, but the Warriors fell 62-51 against Douglas at home. Chase Kelly contributed 10 points for Nipmuc (7-3, 3-2 Dual Valley).

EVIE SCHWARTZ, Lincoln-Sudbury girls basketball

The junior notched 19 points and four steals, as the Warriors took out Newton South 52-32 on Thursday to remain unbeaten in Dual County League play. Sophomore Sarah Poland scored 14 points with eight rebounds for L-S (7-2, 4-0 DCL).

Boys basketball

WESTWOOD 51, Dover-Sherborn 43: Charles Fang led the Raiders (6-5, 4-4 TVL) with 10 points Thursday.

ASHLAND 60, Dedham 53: Robbie Rudisill scored 25 points, 17 in the second half, to lead the Clockers (4-5, 1-4 TVL) on Thursday.

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 57, Newton South 49: Ryan Dooley led three Warriors in double figures with 14 points and six rebounds. Paul Conway (four assists) and Nolan Martindale (three steals) scored 12 points each for L-S (8-3, 3-1 DCL).

ST. PAUL 65, Algonquin 60: Jordan Lopez led the Titans (3-7) with 13 points Thursday. Dylan Poirier hit three 3s and scored 12 points, and Patrick Biamou also had 12 points.

BAY PATH 49, Keefe Tech 40: George Anastos led the Broncos (6-3, 2-2 Colonial) with 15 points Thursday. Eidan Toppa hit two 3s and contributed 14 points for Keefe Tech.

Girls basketball

DIMAN 38, Tri-County 27: Ivy Young scored five points with 11 rebounds Thursday, and Gabby Dergham led the Cougars (5-5, 0-3 Mayflower) with eight points.

ACTON BOXBOROUGH 61, Wayland 47: Sarah Powers and Annika Martins each scored 11 points for the Warriors (2-6) on Thursday. Jenny Shine contributed eight points and six rebounds, and Ava Renneker had seven points, five assists, three steals and three blocks.

Boys swimming & diving

ALGONQUIN 99, Grafton 49: Three Titans won double events to keep the team unbeaten Thursday. Axel Soderquis was first in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events. Simon Linden won the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, and Max Achkinazi took first in the 200 and 500 free for Algonquin (8-0, 6-0 Mid Wach).

Girls swimming & diving

GRAFTON 96, Algonquin 72: Mina Chung placed first in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke for the Titans (4-4, 3-3 Mid-Wach) on Thursday.

Boys alpine skiing

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 57, Bedford 34; L-S 64, Nashoba 7: Nick Boden placed eighth, leading three Warriors in the top 10 on Thursday. Luke Danielson was ninth and Sam Sparks followed in 11th. Andrew Konigsberg (11th) and Will Gabel (16th) rounded out the L-S (3-0) effort.

Girls alpine skiing

LINCOLN-SUDBURY 56, Bedford 33; L-S 49, Nashoba 40: Virginia Weeks reached the podium for the Warriors (3-0) in third. Sophie Ward (fifth), Kenzie Gabel (sixth) and Mila Helon (10th) cracked the top 10 for L-S. Maddie Liberman was 11th.
