Who is famous Milwaukee Brewers fan Front Row Amy?

The front row of last night's Brewers-Diamondbacks wild-card game was full of well-known characters.

Laurence Leavy, better known as Marlins Man, was seated between M&Ms Jacket Guy ― a well-known fixture at Chicago White Sox games ― and Front Row Amy, an avid Brewers fan and season ticket holder who's sat in the front row at American Family Field at most games for over a decade.

Amy Williams, a.k.a. Front Row Amy, is an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and sits right behind home plate at most home games at American Family Field.

Why is Front Row Amy famous?

Amy is well known for attending Brewers games alone, where she scores every pitch in her scorebook. She also became recognized for her good looks, game day attire choices, and the fact that she stays for the entire game and seems to never leave her seat.

Interestingly, Amy reportedly wasn't a big baseball fan until she discovered the Brewers during their 2007 season. She found that going to games made her feel like she was part of something big, and she learned that she enjoyed it most when she went alone, retired Journal Sentinel columnist Jim Stingl wrote in 2012.

Amy quickly became a sensation online and at Brewers games, where other fans would routinely approach her and ask for a photo.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame even produced a Front Row Amy bobblehead, which sold out.

Where does Front Row Amy sit at Brewers games?

Amy's seat is Row 1, Seat 5 ― in the front row behind home plate, according to previous Journal Sentinel reporting.

She's been sitting in the front row since 2011. Before that, during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, she sat in the same section, 117, but in the fourth row.

Amy attends the majority of games each season and sells her remaining tickets online on sites like StubHub. During the 2012 season, she told Stingl she planned to attend about 50 of the 81 Brewers home games.

Once in 2012, a man calling himself "Front Row Andy" comedically impersonated and dressed up as Amy and sat in her vacant seat for a game she missed. There were no hard feelings though; Andy and Amy eventually took a picture together.

What is Front Row Amy's real name?

She is a resident of Oshkosh and drives about 90 minutes to every Brewers game she attends.

Is Front Row Amy married?

Amy is married to Russ Williams, according to her Facebook page. In 2012, Stingl wrote in his column that Amy worked at a property management business with Russ in their hometown of Oshkosh.

Amy is also the mother of three children, a son and two daughters.
