Falcons sign former Georgia punter Cameron Nizialek, waive Sterling Hofrichter

Aug. 3—The Atlanta Falcons have signed former Georgia Bulldogs punter Cameron Nizialek, the NFL team announced Tuesday morning.

Nizialek, 26, serves as a replacement for Sterling Hofrichter, who the Falcons waived with an injury designation.

Nizialek spent the first three weeks of the 2020 season on the Falcons' practice squad, in addition to a stint with the Baltimore Ravens. He has not appeared in an NFL game. He also played with the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football.
