Falcons rookie WR Drake London will wear No. 5

The Falcons finally have a new No. 1 wide receiver after selecting USC’s Drake London in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night.

London, a physical wideout with a huge catch radius, will help fans forget about Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage. In 2021, London had 88 catches, 1,084 receiving yards and seven touchdowns despite playing in just eight games for the Trojans due to a broken ankle.

London wore the No. 15 in college but according to the team’s Twitter account, the rookie will wear the No. 5 for the Falcons this season.
