Everything Steve Sarkisian said to the media on Monday following the Oklahoma win
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian spoke with the media on Monday following the dominant 49-0 win over Oklahoma.
Sarkisian had high praise for several of his players performances against the Sooners. He mentioned Quinn Ewers, Bijan Robinson, Jordan Whittington, Xavier Worthy, Jordan Whittington, Kelvin Banks and several others for their efforts on Saturday.
The second-year head coach was also appreciative of the Texas fans at the Cotton Bowl. “I thought our fans were unbelievable. I thought they had an impact on the game,” he said.
He’s not wrong. Many photos and videos have surfaced of Longhorns fans staying and chanting until the final minute of play, while Sooners fans cleared their side of the stadium.
Sarkisian also touched on the upcoming home matchup with Iowa State, whom he believes has the top defense in the Big 12 Conference.
