Everton and Manchester United meet as the Carabao Cup continues at Goodison Park. It’s an intriguing clash between two of the Premier League’s most in-form sides, with United third and Everton fourth after three wins in four apiece.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men have beaten Salford City, Fleetwood Town and West Ham United to reach the last eight, with this being their best run in the League Cup since 2015/16 when they made the semi-finals. Everton are still without James Rodriguez, Allan and Lucas Digne. Andre Gomes is a doubt but might not have started in any case. Seamus Coleman could come in from the start after returning from injury at the weekend.
Manchester United could be without Scott McTominay after his injury late in the game against Leeds. Luke Shaw is a doubt through injury, but United have everyone else available and the only question is how strong a team Solskjaer picks for this competition.
