Sauce Gardner on 'Hard Knocks'

Former University of Cincinnati star Sauce Gardner had many terrific moments on the first episode of "Hard Knocks." We saw his secret handshake with Aaron Rodgers and followed him back to the Queen City to watch him graduate from school. Gardner also shared a nice/funny moment with former Pro Bowl defensive back Rodney Harrison before the Hall of Fame Game.

Sauce took more of a backseat in episode 2. But he did meet longtime NFL quarterback Josh McCown, who played for the Jets in 2017 and 2018. Gardner, though, didn't seem to know who McCown was, which was similar to his interaction with Harrison in episode 1.

The former Bearcat seems more worried about the future than the past.
