Emma Raducanu start time: How to watch Australian Open match against Shelby Rogers
Emma Raducanu makes her long-awaited return to Grand Slam action at the Australian Open on Tuesday.
The former British No1 has not appeared at a major tournament since the last Melbourne showpiece, when she lost in straight sets to Coco Gauff in the second round 12 months ago.
Raducanu then battled more injury strife before finally undergoing surgery to her ankle and both of her wrists last May.
She ended up being sidelined for a total of eight months, eventually returning in Auckland earlier in January as she beat Elena-Gabriela Ruse at the ASB Classic before being bested by second seed Elina Svitolina in three sets.
Raducanu sparked further fitness concerns by pulling out of two subsequent planned exhibition matches, originally supposed to be against Naomi Osaka and Paula Badosa.
But the 21-year-old is ready to go at the Australian Open, where she has been handed a first-round test against Rogers.
The American is currently the world No161 after sliding down the rankings, having not played herself since a first-round exit at Wimbledon last summer due to a stomach injury.
The only previous meeting between the pair came back in 2021, when Raducanu brushed Rogers aside in straight sets in the last 16 during her fairytale run to US Open glory at Flushing Meadows.

Raducanu vs Rogers is scheduled fourth on 1573 Arena on day three in Melbourne.
Play on that court gets underway from 12am GMT, with British men's No1 Cameron Norrie up first against Juan Pablo Varillas of Peru.
Danielle Collins vs Angelique Kerber and Mackenzie McDonald vs Juncheng Shang then follow, before Raducanu takes on Rogers.
It is difficult to say exactly when that match will start but it is expected no earlier than 8.30am GMT, depending on how those aforementioned trio of other matches progress.
