East Greenwich honored with Spirit Award at All-State Rhode Island High School Sports Awards
East Greenwich High School won the Spirit Award, presented last week at the All-State Rhode Island High School Sports Awards, presented by BlueCross & BlueShield of Rhode Island.
The award was given to the school with the most votes in a one-month online voting period in the spring. It came with a $1,000 scholarship.
The All-State Rhode Island High School Sports Awards are a part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the largest high school athletic recognition program in the country with regional award shows and one national awards show.
