Eagles trade with Texans again; Houston returns to Round 7 with two picks
The Houston Texans have never made a seventh-round selection in the Nick Caserio era, but there is a possibility that changes in 2023.
The Philadelphia Eagles traded their Nos. 230 and 248 overall picks in Round 7 to the Texans for pick No. 191 (Round 6).
The Texans have been dealing picks since Day 1 of the draft when they took Alabama defensive end Will Anderson after a trade with the Arizona Cardinals for No. 3 overall. Moving back into the seventh round with two selections is just par for the course with the Texans in the draft.
Originally the Texans started the 2023 NFL draft with 12 picks.
