Eagles’ Lane Johnson to miss the remainder of regular season with abdominal injury

The Eagles will be without star right tackle Lane Johnson for the remainder of the 2022 NFL season after he suffered an abdominal injury in the loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Johnson exited the contest late in the fourth quarter of Philadelphia’s 40-34 loss to Dallas, and Jack Driscoll was inserted for 11 plays.

The news follows a Tim McManus report from Christmas Day stating that Johnson would have an MRI on Monday morning for a groin/abdomen injury and to determine the severity of the issue.

Johnson has yet to miss a game this season, and the Pro Bowl right tackle hasn’t allowed a sack or quarterback hit in almost two years.
