E/K-M hoops squads ranked in latest NDAPSSA Class B polls

Feb. 5—JAMESTOWN — The Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier boys basketball team has cracked the top 10 in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association poll for the first time since Jan.2.

The Rebels boys basketball team enters the poll ranked at No. 10 with an 11-3 record. The Rebels are coming off a 59-53 win over Ellendale on Jan. 30. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock fell two spots to No. 8 after a 1-1 week that saw them lose to Hazen and beat Kidder County to move their record to 12-2. After the loss, Ellendale remain out of the polls but did receive votes this week.

Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier girls basketball team comes in at No. 7 with a 14-4 record after a 57-31 win over Barnesville (MN.) on Feb. 2.
