The Dolphins needed a WR3 and waited until the sixth round to address that. To answer the most obvious question: He runs the 40 in 4.47. He caught 110 passes last season because he was targeted so often, including short passes. He doesn't drop passes. He has no problem weaving through traffic. He'll catch the ball in a crowd. He'll lay out for a pass. He could fill Miami's need in the slot since Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have the top two receiving roles nailed down.

Washington's stats, highlights

Washington was a second-team All-American and first-team All-ACC selection. He led FBS with 110 receptions and was fourth with 1,426 receiving yards, averaging 13.0 per catch. He caught nine TD passes. He had 1,706 all-purpose yards. His best season at Northwestern was in 2022, when he had 694 receiving yards.
