History will be made Friday night as the 131-year-old rivalry between the Giants and Dodgers will play out in the postseason for the first time.
The 2021 National League Division Series starts Friday night at Oracle Park in San Francisco, the Giants having homefield advantage throughout the playoffs after winning a franchise-record 107 games in the regular season. Of course, the Dodgers finished just one game behind them.
The Dodgers had to beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL wild-card game on Wednesday night, winning on Chris Taylor's walk-off home run to advance to the NLDS and set up the series everybody wanted to see.

Starting pitchers: Walker Buehler, Dodgers (16-4, 2.47 ERA) vs. Logan Webb, Giants (11-3, 3.03 ERA)
Right-hander Walker Buehler went 16-4 with a 2.47 ERA, the third-best mark in the majors. The 27-year-old was dominant against the Giants in the regular season, posting a 3-1 record with a 2.19 ERA in 37 innings across six starts.

Logan Webb, 24, had a breakout year for San Francisco, going 11-3 with a 3.03 ERA in 27 outings. A right-hander, Webb had a 2.25 ERA in three starts against the Dodgers in the regular season.
