Dion Dawkins holds cornhole event to benefit Buffalo shooting victims (video)

Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins and Ilio Dipaolo teamed up in Buffalo to hold a charity cornhole tournament.

Previously the event was held to benefit “Dion Dreamers,” his foundation. In wake of the mass shooting at Tops Markets on Jefferson Avenue, Dawkins decided to turn the funds raised over to the East Side community in the city.

Dawkins told the Buffalo News the change up just made sense.

“They need every bit, plus some. And this is just a small, small, small piece. And I’m going to continue to do more and more and more to just drive everything to the families first, and then those organizations,” he said.
