The Diamondbacks agreed to terms on 2024 contracts with all six of their arbitration-eligible players on Thursday.

The six included first baseman Christian Walker ($10.9 million), right-hander Zac Gallen ($10.011 million), closer Paul Sewald ($7.35 million) and relievers Kevin Ginkel ($1.225 million), Ryan Thompson ($1.35 million) and Joe Mantiply ($925,000).

Walker’s agreement makes him the fourth-highest paid player on the team in 2024 in what is his final year of arbitration eligibility. Gallen slots in right behind Walker and will be eligible for arbitration one more time in 2025 before reaching free agency.

Left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez ($14 million), second baseman Ketel Marte ($13.6 million) and third baseman Eugenio Suarez ($11.285 million) are set to draw the largest salaries next year. That is not including left-hander Madison Bumgarner, who has $14 million remaining on his contract despite being released early last season.

All of Thursday’s agreements fall roughly in line with the salary projections made earlier in the offseason by the site MLB Trade Rumors and keep the Diamondbacks’ internal payroll estimates in the same range of $140 million to $145 million for the upcoming season.

Thursday evening was the deadline for clubs to reach agreements before exchanging arbitration figures.

The Diamondbacks last went to an arbitration hearing with infielder Josh Rojas last year. The club prevailed.
