Game notes: Friday's scheduled game was rained out and rescheduled as part of a day-night doubleheader Saturday, with 1:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. start times. Remember: Both games are seven innings under baseball's pandemic rules. In Game 1, Casey Mize delivered six innings of one-run ball, scattering six hits and striking out five over 101 pitches. Zack Short, called up as the 27th man for the doubleheader started at shortstop and went 2-for-2 with his first major-league homer, a two-run shot to right which gave the Tigers the lead in the fifth inning. The Tigers' win snapped an 11-game winning streak for the Astros.
