Game notes: The Pistons lost to a fellow standings cellar-dweller, the San Antonio Spurs, on Friday and have alternated victories and defeats over the past six games. They went 2-3 on their road trip and now return home. ... James Harden and the 76ers fell Friday at home to the Chicago Bulls, as Zach LaVine scored 41 and made 11 3-pointers, and Nikola Vucevic racked up 19 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists in the absence of all-world center Joel Embiid. Embiid (sore foot), the league's second leading scorer at 33.5 points per game, is out for this game as well. This is Philadelphia's only visit to Detroit this season.
The Pistons and 76ers meet again at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Philly. The 76ers won the season's first meeting, 113-93, a few weeks ago.
