Detroit Lions inactives: Amon-Ra St. Brown will play vs. Las Vegas Raiders despite illness

Sick or not, Amon-Ra St. Brown will play in the Detroit Lions' first home Monday night game in five years.

St. Brown is active for tonight's game against the Las Vegas Raiders one day after he was added to the injury report as questionable with an illness.

St. Brown leads the Lions with 51 catches and 557 yards receiving through seven games. He missed one game earlier this season with an abdominal injury.

LIONS VS. RAIDERS: Dave Birkett's scouting report, prediction

The Lions will be without three offensive starters tonight as David Montgomery (ribs), Jonah Jackson (ankle) and Frank Ragnow (calf/toe) are inactive. Montgomery and Jackson have missed multiple weeks with their injuries, while Ragnow was listed as doubtful on the weekly injury report.

Nose tackle Isaiah Buggs also is inactive for the Lions for the third time this season, while rookie third-round pick Brodric Martin is active for what should be his NFL debut.

Buggs did not play in the Lions' first two games of the season, but played a rotational role at defensive tackle the past five weeks. A 13-game starter last season, Buggs has eight tackles and one sack this season.

Cornerback Steven Gilmore and defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike also are inactive for the Lions, who signed running back Devin Ozigbo to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated offensive lineman Michael Niese from practice squad to the game day roster.

MR. DRESSUP: Lions players rock Halloween costumes ahead of Monday Night Football

Starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is active and expected to start for the Raiders (3-4) after missing last week's loss to the Chicago Bears with a back injury.
