Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 4 game

Divisional foes will start Week 4 on "Thursday Night Football" as the Detroit Lions (2-1) will face the Green Bay Packers (2-1) for the chance to take an early lead in the NFC North.

The upstart Lions were able to overcome the defensive fraud allegations on Sunday by not allowing the Atlanta Falcons to get in the endzone en route to a 20-6 win. The defense racked up seven sacks and gave up its fewest points since the start of the Dan Campbell era, while the offense continued to click.

After trailing 17-0 in the fourth quarter, the Packers pulled off a stunning one-point win against the New Orleans Saints to extend their home-opener win streak to 11, while Jordan Love continues to impress as the new leader in Green Bay. Will the Packers be able to get back on top of the division, or will Detroit back up the offseason hype with a divisional win?

Lorenzo Reyes: Packers 23, Lions 21

This is quite a tough call here, essentially a pick ‘em, but I’m giving the Packers the slight edge because they should get a couple of their key contributors back from injury in running back Aaron Jones and receiver Christian Watson. Still, watch their status and that of left tackle David Bakhtiari, as game time approaches.

Tyler Dragon: Lions 26, Packers 21

The Lions sent the Aaron Rodgers-led Packers home for the season the last time they were in Green Bay. Detroit has defeated the Packers three straight times. Jordan Love’s era has gotten off to a promising start and Green Bay is getting some playmakers back this week, but the Lions extend their win streak over the Packers.

Victoria Hernandez: Lions 23, Packers 20

The Lions won both matchups last season when the Packers had Aaron Rodgers. Both teams also faced the Atlanta Falcons already this season. Detroit won, Green Bay lost. I think Jared Goff’s hiccup in Week 2 was just that — a hiccup.

Jordan Mendoza: Lions 23, Packers 21

Both of the teams have looked pretty good to start the season and this game could go either way. This game will hinge on whether Aaron Jones can return for Green Bay because they'll face a rejuvenated Detroit defense. I like the Lions make it four straight wins against the Packers.
