Despite back-to-back losses, Ball State has made millions against Kentucky and Georgia

Ball State's first two games were both blowout losses, but at least the Cardinals got paid (really) well for it.

According to USA TODAY reporter Steve Berkowitz, Ball State has made a total of $3.25 million in guarantees from its first two games against Kentucky and Georgia. Against the two-time defending champion Bulldogs Saturday, the Cardinals made $1.6 million in guarantees.

Ball State lost at Kentucky in Week 1, 44-14. Against Georgia in Athens, the Cardinals lost, 45-3.
