The Palm Springs Indians continued their recent stranglehold on the Desert Empire League basketball title, and their senior leader Zach Buley was a big reason why.

That's why he accomplished the rare feat of winning back-to-back league MVPs according to the All-Desert Empire League team chosen by the coaches that was recently released.

Buley is a tough guy to guard with his ability to hit 3-pointers but also slash to the lane. He led the team to a remarkable 27-3 record including a perfect 10-0 league slate.

He was joined on the first team by teammates Jayden Creavalle and Jayse Creavalle, the talented brothers who were both Swiss army knives for Palm Springs doing a lot of everything on the court.

The rest of the first team is highlighted by the league's high scorer in senior Coby Christensen of Palm Desert, who averaged 23.5 points per game. His teammate Wil Wilson also made the first team for the Aztecs.

The lone freshman on the first team is the fast and fearless point guard for a Rancho Mirage team that made the deepest playoff run of any DEL team, Marcus Gragg Buchanan. Xavier Prep's high-scoring sophomore Paul Dreisbach also made the first team as did Shadow Hill sophomore Sergio Felix.

Palm Springs coach Chris Howard was named the league's coach of the year.

Here is a look at the full all-Desert Empire League basketball team with first team, second team and honorable mention.
