Denard Robinson signs rookie contract
Denard Robinson has signed his rookie contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the club announced on Tuesday.
Robinson, a fifth-round pick from the University of Michigan, is listed by the club as an "offensive weapon," which is the technical term that he is a jack-of-all-trades who will be used some as a receiver, running back and quarterback, as well as a potential kick returner.
“It’s a great feeling to sign my first NFL contract,” Robinson said. “It’s something I’ve been waiting my whole life for and I’m ready to get to camp later this month and get back to work. I was able to get a feel for the NFL game during the offseason and I look forward to getting the pads on and just keep improving with each practice.”
