Deion Sanders, former Florida State QB Danny Kanell go back and forth on social media

By now, it is obvious Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders isn’t afraid to let his feelings be known. With the opener at TCU coming up on Saturday, Coach Prime has been the talk of college football.

On Tuesday, he was asked during a press conference about Florida State, the school where he played college ball before becoming an MLB and NFL star. However, Coach Prime sidestepped that and reminded everyone that he graduated from an historically black college and university, Talladega College.

However, CBS Sports college football analyst Danny Kanell, who played at Florida State, didn’t take too kindly to Coach Prime’s response, and it ignited a back-and-forth on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Well, Coach Prime saw those comments and issued a response of his own:

Coach Prime graduated from Talladega College in 2020 after taking courses. He left Florida State early to pursue his professional playing career.

To end the feud, Kanell responded with this:

“Prime you weren’t just a Dogg; you might have been the greatest Seminole ever. Am I allowed to call you that? It’s all good tho. The fact you got your degree is a great example to young athletes everywhere. Wish you the best at CU because I like to see Noles succeed.”
