December Football: A look at the last teams standing Miller, Sinton and Refugio

The last of the Thanksgiving leftovers means that we've reached hallowed ground in the Texas high school football playoffs: December football.

Teams that play games in December are among the best in the state. Three Coastal Bend teams remain with the state quarterfinals this week, as Miller (Class 5A Division I), Sinton (Class 4A DII) and Refugio (Class 2A DI) compete for regional championships this week.
