Dallas Cowboys draft Western Michigan DE Marshawn Kneeland in Round 2 of 2024 NFL draft
The Dallas Cowboys selected Western Michigan defensive end Marshawn Kneeland in the second round, at No. 56 overall, of the 2024 NFL draft on Friday in downtown Detroit.
Kneeland played in only nine games last season but had a career-high 57 tackles, 4½ sacks and 7½ tackles for loss in being named to the All-Mid-American Conference second team.
The 6-foot-3, 267-pounder from Wyoming Godwin Heights ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds and had 21 reps in the bench press.
This marks the fourth straight year a Bronco has been selected in the NFL draft, Kneeland is the highest to go since Skyy Moore went in 2022's Round 2 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
