Dallas Cowboys draft Western Michigan DE Marshawn Kneeland in Round 2 of 2024 NFL draft

The Dallas Cowboys selected Western Michigan defensive end Marshawn Kneeland with the 56th overall pick (Round 2) of the 2024 NFL draft on Friday in downtown Detroit.

Kneeland played in only nine games last season, but had a career-high 57 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss and was named to the All-Mid-American Conference second team.

The 6-foot-3, 267-pounder from Wyoming Godwin Heights ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds and had 21 reps in the bench press.

This marks the fourth straight year a Bronco is selected in the NFL draft, and the highest to go since Skyy Moore went in Round 2 in 2022 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
