Crestview's Ringler, Fulk earn Division III All-Ohio baseball honors

MANSFIELD — There may be no better position to describe Crestview senior Jarek Ringler than utility man.

A starting shortstop and dominant ace pitcher for the Cougars, Ringler was selected as an honorable mention All-Ohioan along with teammate Brennan Fulk by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association.

Ringler hit .481 with 39 hits, two doubles, 12 RBIs, 36 runs scored and 25 stolen bases. On the mound, he was untouchable going 7-1 with a 1.15 earned run average tossing six complete games, three shutouts and one no-hitter. He allowed just nine earned runs in 55 innings and struck out 93 batters. He only allowed one extra-base hit this season.

Fulk hit .472 with 34 hits, six doubles, 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored and was a wall behind the plate with just three errors all season long.
