Cowboys Prescott, Jarwin share feel-good vibes on social media

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been the center of attention and his contract discussions have been at the forefront of the conversation.

With the franchise tag period starting February 23, Dallas will likely assign Prescott with the tag to extend the exclusive long-term contract conversations with his representatives to July 15. The tag would set at around $37.7 million and would increase by 44% in 2022.

On Friday, tight end Blake Jarwin posted a photo on Instagram tagging Prescott, captioned “@_4Dak , wanna run it back in a few months?” Prescott responded by sharing the photo on his story with a message, “That’s the only way I see it”.

This is good news for the upcoming discussion between the Cowboys’ brass and Prescott that will ramp up in the coming months.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and tight end Dalton Schultz both commented on Jarwin’s post, showing their support for the pair, expressing their excitement to possibly have Prescott throwing passes to them in 2021.

After the absence of Prescott in the Cowboys 2021 hype video following Super Bowl LV, this positive interaction gives optimism to Cowboys fans who are uncertain of their franchise quarterback’s future with the team.
