Cowboys-Lions TV coverage maps, how to stream, listen, wager in Week 7
The Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions square off again for the first time since 2019. In that contest, quarterback Dak Prescott threw for an astronomical 444 yards and three scores. It’s the fourth-most passing yards he’s thrown for in a victory over his seven-year career and the Lions’ defense seems the perfect opponent for his comeback appearance after missing the last five games.
The Cowboys have a chance to gain a half a game against the idle Philadelphia Eagles who are on a bye, while the Lions are coming off of their bye and trying to save their season. They started out competitively, but the bottom may have fallen out of that effort. It’s the rare early game for Dallas, which means a lot of the country won’t get a chance to tune in through normal channels. Cowboys keys to victory
Cowboys’ key to victory: Regardless of whether or not this is the week Dallas gets QB Dak Prescott back, or Cooper Rush makes his sixth-straight start, Dallas will need to focus on getting their wideouts more involved in the passing game. Rush’s inability to drive the ball has stalled the passing game outside the numbers, and the Cowboys have to open up the field. On defense, Dan Quinn will need to refocus LB Micah Parsons’ assignments so he’s not caught on a coverage island. The pass rush will once again have to focus on the run as Detroit has one of the top attacks in the league
Lions keys to victory
Lions’ key to victory: Detroit will need to keep their high-scoring energy as their defense hasn’t been able to stop much of anybody. Well rested coming off of their bye week, QB Jared Goff will need this receivers to hold onto the ball, as their 12 drops is among the league leaders. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the biggest success stories of 2022 but Goff will have to survive a dominant pass rush or get him the ball in creative ways, if he’s healthy enough to play. The rushing attack has been strong, and as that’s Dallas’ weakness on defense, should remain Detroit’s focal point.
Matchup to Watch
Lions RT Penei Sewell vs Cowboys LE DeMarcus Lawrence. Sewell has come into his own after a rough start to his rookie year in 2021. Lawrence continues to impress in both pass rush and run stoppage and the head-to-head matchups should be glorious.

Who wins? The Cowboys should be able to bounce back from their worst performance in a month and win this one relatively comfortably. Cowboys 28, Lions 17.
