Coughlin not thrilled with Giants' talking

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin isn't thrilled with all of the trash talking from his team heading into a 24-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, words they didn't back up on the field.

"I don't believe in that stuff," Coughlin said. "I think you play the game -- talk is cheap, play the game. I don't see anything that gets accomplished by the verbalization part of it."

Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas had guaranteed a victory.

"We've never been a team that has been one to provide bulletin-board material," Coughlin said. "I understand there was a little bit of that last week, and I don't believe in any of that. As a matter of fact, [I] speak out very strongly against it."
