Converted linebacker Grant Anderson stars at QB for Vista Ridge to earn our top honor

Grant Anderson, QB/LB, Vista Ridge: The Rangers senior, whose main duty is outside linebacker, changed positions when Vista Ridge's starting quarterback got hurt. He responded with 280 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns to lead Vista Ridge to a 36-16 victory over Manor. He also scored on a 2-point conversion and contributed a tackle for loss of yards.

Alex Green, WR, Hutto: The Hippos senior caught 13 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown in a 38-33 victory over Copperas Cove.

Logan Mitchell, QB, Leander: The Lions junior combined for 326 yards and six touchdowns to help rally Leander from a 26-point deficit and stun Hendrickson 41-40.
Jack Tyndall, RB, Dripping Springs: The Tigers senior rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown on 36 carries in a 24-6 victory over Lake Travis.
Reid Vines, LB, Cedar Park: The senior registered 20 tackles during a 17-13 victory over Glenn.
Other Central Texas standouts — Westlake RB Grady Bartlett rushed for 123 yards and a TD in a 65-14 victory over Austin High; Vandegrift LB Diego De la Vara had eight solo tackles in a 58-0 victory over Cedar Ridge; Crockett QB Cameron Dickey rushed for 211 yards, passed for 109 yards and accounted for four TDs during a 47-0 victory over Eastside; Jarrell WR Cody Dotson caught four passes for 171 yards and a pair of TDs in a 64-7 victory over Austin Achieve; Blanco RB Nic Fox rushed for 142 yards and a TD on only five carries in a 55-24 victory over Llano; Elgin QB Nathen Lewis passed for 133 yards, rushed for 63 yards and accounted for four TDs in a 44-17 victory over Pflugerville; Regents QB Quinn Murphy completed all five of his passes for 136 yards and three scores in a 77-0 victory over Sn Antonio St. Anthony; Anderson WR Ed Small caught four TD passes and returned a kickoff 95 yards for another score in a 49-17 victory over Del Valle; Wimberley QB Cody Stoever accounted for 282 yards and four TDs in a 48-20 victory over Geronimo Navarro.
