Company to donate $100K if Chiefs K Harrison Butker wins big in Super Bowl

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has some money on the line in Super Bowl LVIII, and it’s not related to sports betting.

If the two-time Super Bowl-winning kicker is awarded MVP of this upcoming SB, NOVUS Clothing Company will donate $100,000 to the Hope Center of Kansas City. That would be the first time a kicker has been awarded Super Bowl MVP.

One KC-area district already plans to cancel school for potential Super Bowl parade

If Butker hits a game-winning field goal in the final minute, the company will donate new varsity football jerseys to every public high school in Kansas City and San Francisco.

The Hope Center works to provide opportunities for sustainable growth and development for children and families.

The Albany, New York-based clothing company that Butker is partnering with produces purpose-driven, custom apparel for athletes, teams and professionals nationwide.

With Butker’s kicking efficiency and the high quality of the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers defenses, the goals aren’t far from reach.

The 28-year-old notched a 27-yard field goal in last year’s Super Bowl with eight seconds on the clock to clinch the win.

This season, Butker made his first 23 field goals and ended the regular season hitting 33 of his 35 field goals (fourth in the NFL in FG%) and all 38 of his extra points.

He has also been a perfect 7-for-7 on field goals and extra points in the Chiefs’ postseason run to this year’s Super Bowl.

A repeat of last year’s SB ending could result in thousands of young student-athletes getting new uniforms for their upcoming 2024 season.
