Columbus Clippers hit three home runs in 11-5 win over Toledo Mud Hens

Wednesday's game: Toledo 5, Columbus 3

Recap: Colt Keith and Donny Sands hit home runs to lead the Mud Hens, who got all of their runs in the third and fourth innings. Clippers starter Zach Plesac, who on Monday was named the International League pitcher of the week, allowed five runs on seven hits in four innings. Eric Haase homered and Oscar Gonzalez tripled for the Clippers.

Tuesday's game: Columbus 11, Toledo 5

Recap: Bryan Lavastida, Oscar Gonzalez and Angel Martinez hit home runs as the Clippers opened their final road trip with a win. Columbus had 14 hits, including three by Gonzalez and two each from Lavastida, Martinez, Johnathan Rodriguez and Johnkensy Noel. Six Clippers pitchers held the Mud Hens to four hits.
