Columbus Blue Jackets' have less company with no titles after Nuggets, Golden Knights wins

The Denver Nuggets and Vegas Golden Knights have put the Blue Jackets in more exclusive company.

With their win against the Miami Heat, the Nuggets secured their first NBA championship in team history, leaving 10 NBA teams and 51 teams across the MLB, MLS, NBA, NHL and NFL to have never won a league championship.

Tuesday night, the Vegas Golden Knights won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, leaving 10 NHL teams without a Stanley Cup championship, including the Blue Jackets.

Since the team's inception in the 2000-01 season, the Blue Jackets have made the postseason six times, advancing to the conference quarterfinals in 2008-09.

The Blue Jackets have not made the NHL playoffs since the 2019-20 season and are one of four teams to have never advanced to a final series.
