Colts to sign WR Tyler Adams after rookie minicamp
The Indianapolis Colts are signing undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Tyler Adams after a successful tryout at the team’s rookie minicamp this weekend.
A Butler product after transferring from Harvard, Adams also attended the Colts’ local pro day ahead of the 2023 NFL draft. The news was first reported by Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.

Adams will be 25 years old before the regular season starts so it’s no surprise he went undrafted. At 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Adams posted a 4.43 in the 40-yard dash, a 35.5-inch vertical and a 9-foot-10-inch broad jump at Butler’s pro day.
Adams spent the first five seasons of his collegiate career at Harvard. He missed the 2019 season due to a torn ACL and the 2020 campaign was canceled due to the pandemic. He tore his ACL again in 2021 just two games into the season and then transferred to Butler.
In 2022, Adams appeared in 11 games (five starts), recording 35 receptions for 689 yards and five touchdowns.
