Colorado State men's basketball keeps climbing in polls ahead of Mountain West opener

The arrow is pointing up again.

The Colorado State men's basketball team moved up another two spots in the AP top-25 poll this week. The Rams are now sitting at No. 13. It matches CSU's highest AP ranking of all-time, which the Rams hit earlier this season.

The Rams remain No. 14 in the latest USA Today coaches poll.

CSU went 1-0 last week, the lone game a 106-61 blowout of Division II Adams State.

It's now six weeks in a row ranked for CSU, extending the longest rank streak in program history.

The Rams are 12-1 overall ahead of the first game of Mountain West play, an 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, game against New Mexico at Moby Arena.

New Mexico is also 12-1 and receiving votes in the AP poll.
