Colorado on the bubble in USA TODAY Sports’ latest men’s basketball bracketology

In what has been an up-and-down 2023-24 season, Colorado now finds itself on the brink of making the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The Buffs were projected to make March Madness with ease before the season, but some difficult losses have changed things.

According to USA TODAY Sports’ most recent bracketology, Colorado is a “last four in” team along with Boise State, Memphis and Utah. Colorado and Utah are two of only three Pac-12 teams projected to make the NCAA Tournament, with Arizona taking the No. 3 seed in the West Region.

The Buffs have dealt with several injuries this season, but their inability to win on the road has ultimately hurt a talented squad.

With Colorado and Utah facing off for the first time this season on Saturday, a road win for the Buffs could bring them great confidence heading into the final stretch of the season.
